Comparing: WZ-131 vs. T71 CMCD

Development of a lightweight version of the Type 59 tank started in 1957. The new tank was designed to fight in the mountainous and boggy terrain of South China. The first prototype was built in 1962. Later, the vehicle underwent several stages of modernization.

A project of an airborne light tank. Developed by the Cadillac company from 1952 through 1956 as a replacement for the M41. In 1956, due to insufficient funds, the project was discontinued in favor of the more promising Т92. No prototypes were built.
