Developed at the request of the Dutch East Indies, with a total of 125 vehicles manufactured from 1941 through 1942. Only 20 of them were ordered, and they never saw action.

Modification of the 38M Toldi I light tank. The vehicle was named after the Hungarian knight Miklos Toldi. The tank featured improved armor and increased ammunition capacity compared to previous versions. Approximately 12 vehicles were manufactured during WWII.
