Comparing: Hotchkiss H35 vs. BT-2 vs. T-60

Cavalry support tank. Developed in 1934. Mass production was launched in 1935, with a total of 400 vehicles manufactured. In 1938 a new modification, the H38, entered production. About 1000 of the H35/H38/H39 vehicles were produced.

Developed on the basis of the Christie tank M1931. Produced at the Kharkiv Komintern Locomotive Factory (KhPZ), with 650 BT-2 tanks and 1,884 BT-5 tanks manufactured from 1932 through 1935.

Developed in August 1941 at the Construction Bureau of Plant No. 37 under the supervision of N. A. Astrov. The vehicle came into service in September 1941, and was mass-produced until February 1943, with a total of 5920 vehicles manufactured. The T-60 tank was in service until the end of the war.
