Comparing: FV4202 vs. TVP T 50/51

Experimental tank on the basis of the Centurion medium tank. The vehicle was in development from 1956 through 1959, but never saw mass production. Technical decisions and innovations implemented in the FV4202 became the basis for the FV4201 Chieftain.

A joint project by Škoda and ČKD. Discussions to determine the tank’s characteristics started on January 14, 1950, but the project was discontinued on March 4, 1950 by the Czechoslovakian Ministry of Defense. No prototypes were manufactured. Existed only in blueprints.
