Comparing: Chieftain/T95 vs. T-44-100

GB87_Chieftain_T95_turret

Development of the FV4201 Chieftain allowed for the interchangeability of guns with the U.S. T95 tank by means of exchanging turrets. The project was discontinued because of numerous problems with training crews to master two artillery systems.

R122_T44_100

Experimental medium tank that was developed in 1945 on the basis of the T-44 tank. Unlike the T-44 tank, the T-44-100 featured the 100 mm LB-1 gun mounted in a newly designed turret, and slat side armor. Only two vehicles were manufactured.
