Object_430

A prototype of this medium tank was developed from 1953 through 1957 to replace the T-54. Several prototypes were manufactured. Later, Soviet authorities wanted a tank with greater nuclear survivability and firepower. As a result, in 1961 the project was discontinued, and the decision was made to develop the Object 432.

Object_140

An experimental medium tank. Developed between 1953 and 1958 in Nizhny Tagil to replace the T-54. Two prototypes were built, but in 1958 the project was terminated in favor of the Object 430.
